Stroudwater is…A historic Spiritual Renewal ministry. Since the revivals of 1840, this ministry has been involved in bringing spiritual awakening to Portland. Our church has set the bar for contemporary worship, short-term missions, small group ministries, youth outreach and regional evangelism. By God’s grace we continue to be innovative, finding new ways to share the good news about Jesus with our culture, and empowering our members to make a difference in the world.A place for Spiritual Discovery. Many visitors to our church do not have any relationship with God. They come seeking answers to hard questions and are surprised to find that at Stroudwater, God speaks to their needs. A place for Healing. The people in this church are just like you. We all have a story, and we all need to be forgiven and loved. Jesus Christ is the God of the “second chance.” We just want you to find the new life we have found. Discover the healing grace of Jesus. A place for meeting friends. We value the need to experience relationships in the Church. Each person has gifts and value, and everyone is important. Grow in your faith with the support of people who care. We have a monthly gathering called Stroudwater Café, which is held in the lobby of Cinemagic after the worship service. It's a place to be introduced to some of our church leadership, hear about Stroudwater ministries, have your questions answered and enjoy free refreshments.
