Senior Pastor - Rev. Dr. William Chadwick
Bill began his ministry as our Senior Pastor in 1990. A graduate of both Gordon-Conwell and Fuller Seminaries, his knowledge of the Bible and passion for people has helped Stroudwater to become one of Maine's most recognized churches. Dr. Chadwick is the author of Stealing Sheep, a conference speaker, and is active on the boards of many regional Christian organizations. His wife Carol heads up our Women's Ministry and is on the Greater Portland Young Life Committee.  They have two sons, Ben and Dan.
   


Associate Pastor - Rev. Angela Stibitz
Angela holds a master's degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and was ordained in August 2005. With extensive counseling experience, and a sharp eye for organization, Angela provides quality care for our church body and oversees the staff and the many ministries of Stroudwater. Her husband Russ is a church Elder and, with Angela, ministers to our young adults in Catacombs.

Assistant Pastor of Youth & Family Development - Paul Gant
Paul is currently finishing a Master’s degree in theology from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is the newest addition to our staff. Paul will be working with our Senior High Youth and we are so pleased to have him with us.

Youth Director, Junior High - Jeff Mears
Jeff is an educator and works full time for the Biddeford school system. Graduating from Warner Southern College, Jeff works twenty hours a week with our middle school kids, sharing with them his love of Christ. His ministry dovetails into our Young Life Senior High program, and he is married to Joyalle, who is active in our children's and small group programs. They have two children, Aaron and Grace.

Area Director of Young Life - Bob Brittingham
Bob and his staff oversee high school youth groups in Freeport, Portland, Gorham and Cape Elizabeth. Bob and his staff make faith in Christ a living reality in the lives of our high-schoolers. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Bob's passion and dedication have made Young Life a close affiliate of Stroudwater's ministry. Bob's wife, Pam, heads up the Diaconate Board, and they have two sons, Bobby and Bryce.

Director of Christian Education - Terri Brown
Terri directs our volunteer Sunday School staff who offer quality educational programs to our youth every Sunday with Kingdom Kids. Terri brings a solid Christian perspective to our children, equipping them for the rigors of school and life. Her husband, Howie, is the coordinator of our Men's Ministry and, together, they host a small group in their home.

Worship Team Director – Brett Williams
Brett has joined our staff and will be working part time overseeing our outstanding Worship Team.  Brett has been part of the worship for many years and brings enthusiasm and excitement to the team.  His love for God shines through his music every Sunday.  God has blessed him with many talents and we are really happy to have him with us.
   

Director of Small Groups – Darren Bantz
Darren has joined our staff part time and will be organizing and overseeing our Small Group Ministry.    He and his wife Kim and 4 girls have attended Stroudwater for many years.  His outstanding heart for God and managerial skills make him a great leader.  We are truly blessed to have him.

Front Desk - Alene Nelson
Alene works part-time in the front office, as well as tending the beautiful flowers on the church grounds. Her cheerful smile and heart will greet you as you enter the office or call on the phone, and she is a helpful addition to our busy staff. She is also a member of the Welcome Team on Sunday mornings at Cinemagic. Give Alene a call if you have questions about any of the ministries of the church, and she will direct you to the answers.

Special Projects Coordinator / Front Desk – Glenace Breton
Glenace is playing a dual role here at Stroudwater.  She will be using her talents full time to organize and run our Special Events as well as being part of the Front Desk team with Alene.  She and her husband Jeff have been long time members of Stroudwater and we are so pleased she has joined the team.

Financial Manager - Norma Farides
Norma works in the front office to perform the many functions necessary to keep the cash flow moving for the church and for Noah's Ark Child Care Center. She is also a member of our Women's Ministry Leadership Team. Norma's husband Tony is a church Elder and a vocalist on our Worship Team. They have three children: Julie, Tiffany and Heath.

Counseling Staff
Director of Wellspring Counseling - Dr. Douglas Sholl
Doug is a graduate of Harvard and Eastern College, and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. As Director of Wellspring Counseling, he oversees a regional network of Christian counselors who bring healing to shattered lives. Doug keeps regular office hours at Stroudwater and assists us in counseling and teaching ministry. His wife, Betsy, is a seasoned author and the Poet Laureate of the State of Maine.
